For me, SXSW 2016 in Austin, TX was the festival of movie premieres, interviews and red carpets. I covered Elijah Wood's movie premiere of 'The Trust', Jake Gyllenhaal's interview about his new movie 'Demolition', Alexander Skarsgard and Michael Peña's movie premiere of 'War on Everyone' and I was even there for the announcement of Pokemon Go. There were tons of other events I photographed such as an interview with J.J. Abrams, Joel Edgerton, Sway Calloway interviewing T-Pain, a Pat Benatar interview, the 'Hired Gun' movie premiere and it was also Vans 50th Anniversary! This is my favorite event to photograph every year. With all the amazing food that Austin has to offer, their great music venues, tons of showcases and even the people, it's hard to leave! I love my SXSW Photo Crew team and am grateful for all the wonderful experiences they have trusted me to cover.
