Connecticut Wedding - Branford House

One thing I really love about photography is all the wonderful people that I have become friends with through this craft. This beautiful bride Jessica and her awesomely funny husband Chuck are my example A and B.

I met Jessica about three years ago through Model Mayhem when I was looking to work on  my portrait photography. We did a shoot at Jennings Beach in Fairfield and have been close friends ever since! When I first saw Jessica I knew the shoot would be easy because of how gorgeous she is. After hanging out with her more and through more portrait shoots I could feel what a warm and caring person she is and knew that she was someone that I would be friends with for a very long time.

When she and Chuck asked me to shoot their engagement and wedding photos.. I'm pretty sure I screamed. Shooting a friend's wedding always is one of the biggest honors. Especially when it is for a couple who is as fun and sweet as these two. 

Jessica and Chuck got married at The Branford House in Groton, CT in August on a beautiful summer day. Everything from the weather to Jessica's dress to the venue to the food to the newlyweds was perfection. My sister Ren assisted me and as always took some incredible photos. Thank you so much for helping out!

Jessica and Chuck, I adore you both. I'm so thankful to know you both and call you my friends. I don't know how I keep getting so lucky with all of these wonderful friendships, but keep 'em comin'!
