One of the biggest pleasures of working as a photographer is that I am able to meet so many remarkable people. I met Summer and Madison at my best friend, Shannon's, wedding last year in Annapolis, MD, and I am thrilled I did. Summer is more lovely than her name and Madison is fun, creative, and just plain cool! Summer is currently in USC Pharmacy School and is working to help many who are less fortunate than her. Madison is a brilliant videographer based in LA who has worked for companies such as Funny or Die, the ACM Awards, and even Levi Jeans. This couple has created a beautiful and fun story together. They began their journey together as high school sweethearts and are writing their new chapter of their lives together, beginning with their eclectic and unique backyard wedding in Bethany Beach, DE. Event designer Angie Gilllis, from Encore Events, did a spectacular job with all of Summer and Madison's details. From their sweet mint and gold color theme to the tomahawk throwing during the reception, this couple exemplifies harmony and a willingness to embrace life in all of its joy and challenges.
This is the kind of couple I truly enjoy photographing. A couple with such beautiful love that it is difficult to choose which photos represent that best, because to me they are all so heartwarming! I feel truly privileged to have contributed to their Best Day Ever.
